Kids Country is currently searching for a full-time Lead Teacher to join our Toddler classroom!
A little bit about us:
Voted the BEST Childcare Center and BEST Preschool in Central MN, Kids Country Child Care and Learning Center is a value-guided center that cares for children ages 6 weeks through 11 years old, catering to the individual needs of each different age group by providing separate classrooms, playgrounds, and programming.
Kids Country is located on Country Manor Campus, a 25-acre healthcare campus that is primarily devoted to caring for seniors in Sartell, MN. With five age-specific classrooms, a large indoor recreational gym, outdoor play areas, and Val Smith park right across the street- there is plenty of space to explore and make everyday fun and unique!
Additionally, being part of a large campus-style setting provides special opportunities for both teachers and students. Teachers are able to take their classrooms throughout the building for a change of scenery, and participate in special weekly visits with our senior living communities in intergenerational programming. Kids Country also participates in campus events like the annual Fourth of July parade!
Kids Country has a 1:7 student ratio! As the Lead Toddler Teacher, your focus will be on helping our toddlers grow and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime in preschool! You’ll work with the Assistant Teachers assigned to your classroom to create innovative lesson plans that will ensure each child has the academic tools they’ll need. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about teaching, patient, and dedicated to creating a nurturing and consistent learning atmosphere for all student to learn, grow and have fun! Kids Country Teachers have a great impact on preparing students for their future success in school and life!
What your days will look like as a Lead Toddler Teacher at Kids Country:
Interact and build relationships with students
Develop and implement lesson plans that promote the emotional, social, physical and intellectual growth of your students
Collaborate with your fellow teachers and local schools to offer special interest clubs (STEM, Cooking Club, etc.) that will spark curiosity and reinforce the skills students are being taught in school
Supervise classrooms and maintain a fun and interactive environment for all
Monitor the development of each child and communicate progress with parents
Work 1:1 with students - Lead activities such as arts/crafts, science experiments, and gym games
Help plan frequent field trips and accompany students for the fun!
Qualifications:
Teaching degree, or close to completing degree OR CDA Certification
1+ year experience in a child care center
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and families

This is a full-time M-F position. Hours are primarily between 7:45 AM- 4:45 PM.
