The Registered Dietician plays an integral role in our Interdisciplinary Team, and has a direct impact on the experiences and quality of life for residents and patients.
This is a leadership position that assists in the successful operation of all Food & Nutrition Services at Country Manor Health Care & Rehab Center and Country Manor's Rapid Recovery & Aquatic Center.

The Country Manor Culinary Team oversees the Food & Nutrition Services for Country Manor’s long-term care center (Health Care & Rehab Center), as well as our sub-acute rehabilitation facility (Rapid Recovery & Aquatic Center.)
Our Culinary Team takes tremendous pride in preparing menus and offering entrees that not only satisfy residents' taste buds, but give them another thing to look forward to during their day.
Our Culinary Team comes with an impressive amount of experience, specialized training, and commitment to enriching the lives of the people we serve. They really get to know the residents they care for and often create menu items based on requests and favorites. Whether it's internationally themed cuisine, home-cooked comfort food, modern takes on old recipes or healthy alternatives; the Culinary Team is exceptional at offering a wide variety of culinary delights that are not only crave-worthy but also meet individual nutritional needs.
All meals are served restaurant-style, with options for in-room delivery for patients staying in our short-stay rehabilitation community.
As a Registered Dietician at Country Manor, You'll:
Conduct admission interviews and assessments on new residents and patients
Identify nutritional needs and prescribe special diets to address them
Work closely with nursing staff to monitor and assist residents in planning and following prescribed diet. Make recommendations as needed.
Complete MDS and RAPs (initial, quarterly, annually, significant changes and Medicare requirements)
Coordinate special meal plan needs with Director of Nutritional Services (at-risk residents, tube feedings, thickened liquids, etc.)
Conduct nutrition audits as required
Assist with policy and procedure development for clinical care
Attend Meetings, as needed
Work closely with the residents
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Must be a graduate of an approved 4-year Registered Dietitian program
Experience in Long-Term Care
Knowledge of Federal and State guidelines governing Long-Term Care facilities
Proficient computer skills
Must work well with deadlines
Strong communication skills to work effectively with nursing staff, doctors, and other professional staff
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with resident care plans, nutritional assessments, and MDS’s
Must possess leadership qualities, with the ability to think strategically, problem-solve and help support staff implement diets correctly
